A Day Of Golf

Links-Style

  • Enjoy open-style golf like across the pond
  • Fuel up with an unforgettable breakfast
An 18-hole, links-style golf course situated amongst rolling hills and stunning scenery, The Fields Golf Club features wide open fairways, fescue hazards, and firm and fast conditions. The greens roll fast, but true and wind can play a factor. Many holes on this course are modeled after some of the classics from across the pond.
Before your tee time, settle in for a hearty breakfast at Gus’s Grill. Situated near Lafayette Square in downtown LaGrange, the menu has all the classic breakfast options. Known for their endless fresh coffee, savory skillets and friendly service, your group will feel like locals here.
If you’re looking for more of a hometown Top Golf experience, look no further than Drive Bar, a driving range and bar located just outside of LaGrange in Hogansville, Georgia. In addition to rounds of golf, the simulator features a wide variety of other competitive games, as well as as a fully-stocked bar with a Bottoms-Up draft system.
Beacon Brewing Co. isn’t just known for its Belgian- and Bavarian-style craft beers but also its banging burgers and bowls. In LaGrange’s historic Hillside district, Beacon serves up classic Southern fare with an Asian spin. Locals love the wings, burgers and tacos with specialty dishes like Bahn Mi, rice bowls and the Asian Fried Chicken Sammie.

SHOOT YOUR SHOT

SPORTING CLAYS AND HUNTS

  • 700-acres of rolling hills and woodlands
  • Drool over world-class barbecue
  • Dial in pistols at close range
Family-owned for over 150 years, Liberty Hill Sporting Club hosts hunts and gatherings on 700 acres on the outskirts of LaGrange. The covered eight-trap, five-stand overlooks a picturesque lake and is perfect for friendly competitions. Guided hunts are available, as well as overnight hunting trips. Self-guided quail, chukar and pheasant hunts are popular choices for gatherings. The Club provides all the equipment your group will need, but feel free to bring your own gear.
Arguably the best pulled pork around, Country’s Barbecue is fitting after a day of shooting. LaGrange knows when Country’s is smoking meat, as the smell of hickory wafts through the air. Squash your hunger with barbecue platters and made-from-scratch Southern dishes like Brunswick stew and banana pudding.
FMJ Armory’s top-notch 8-lane gun range is a perfect activity to level up your stay in LaGrange. FMJ offers firearm rental and even hosts competitions weekly. If you and the boys are the slightest bit competitive, this is the activity for you.
