Kick off your weekend with a spectacular performance at Pure Life House of Music. After a day on safari and a glass of wine from Nutwood, you’ll be ready to relax and enjoy the sounds of Ordinary Elephants in this eclectic and intimate listening room.
Wild Animal Safari is a wildlife park just a short drive south of LaGrange. With over 550 animals and 70 different species, visitors experience close encounters with exotic animals from all over the world at this 500-acre park. Families can rent a zebra van or drive their own vehicle to enjoy the wildlife.
Nutwood Winery is full of Southern charm. The expansive tasting room sits alongside a Greek Revival style manor and 200-year-old pecan trees. Find shade under their canopy as you taste crisp and complex wines. Bring your appetite and snack on Southern favorites like chicken salad, quiche and homemade ice cream.
Catch International Folk Music Awards 2017 Artist of the Year Ordinary Elephant at Pure Life House of Music, an eclectic listening space in the Hillside neighborhood of LaGrange. The stunning property now known as Hills & Dales Estate was once the home of Fuller E. Callaway, respected business magnate and prominent LaGrange citizen. The majestic home and gardens that make up the estate have hosted delegates and leaders from across the world. One visit to this incredible landmark and you will understand it’s worldwide appeal.
Enjoy the sounds of the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s with West Georgia’s premier cover band, Raising Sand! Hosted by Wild Leap Brew Co. from 1 – 5 PM, this event is sure to be a hit for music lovers across all generations. (The craft beer and house-made cocktails are sure to be just as big of crowd pleasers.)
Try your hand at axe throwing at downtown LaGrange’s newest entertainment venue, Chop House. Now open in their new location on Lafayette Square, Chop House provides thrilling fun for patrons of all ages. Toss a few axes while you unwind and drink a few brews, or enjoy an evening stroll around the square. The night is yours!

Race Day in LaGrange

The high-speed, multi-lap cycling race will take place on the historic streets of downtown LaGrange, inciting an unprecedented block party. Hundreds of cyclists will scorch through the closed streets of Bull Street, Main Street, and the blocks connecting. You can catch all the action up close on Main Street, or purchase the VIP experience (cash bar and food included) and watch it from the roof at Del’Avant!
Located along The Thread, Local Groundz Coffee Co. serves organic, fair-trade coffee and locally-sourced delights. The coffee shop lives in a circa 1920 historic home with spacious indoor and outdoor patio seating. Stop in for a quick caffeine boost, or order a bite to eat and relax on the patio!
Winding through the beautiful neighborhoods and parks of LaGrange, The Thread is a 12-foot wide path designed for walking, running and biking. The path is a non-motorized, multi-purpose trail originally built to increase the health and wellness in the community by providing a safe environment for fitness and recreation.
Wild Leap will be a hotspot for all of the LaGrange Cycling Classic action! Bring your crew and watch the cyclists scorch the streets while sipping boozy beverages! The party begins at 2pm.
