Dec. 1-3: The Nutcrackerat the Lafayette Ballet Company: A longtime Christmas tradition comes to the stage this year in a dazzling performance by the Lafayette Ballet Company featuring some of the area’s most talented performers.

Dec. 2: Ugly Sweater Party atWild Leap Brew Co. At Wild Leap’s flagship location, a classic Ugly Sweater Party invites guests to don their quirkiest knits and festive outfits and enjoy a menu of holiday-themed beers, cocktails and more. Young ones are welcome to celebrate with kid-friendly beverages, games, entertainment and party favors.

Dec. 5: Holiday Home Tours at Hills & Dales The stunning Hills & Dales Estate is even more impressive during the holidayswhen it is lavishly decorated for the season. Beginning December 5 through the end of the month, visitors can get an in-depth look at the home and its spectacular décor, including a vintage-style Fraser fir tree and the sounds of holiday classics in the background.

Dec. 9: Deck the Halls with Donald Davis Gather around for holiday tales by renowned storyteller Donald Davis and the Azalea Storytelling Festival. The beloved festival takes place each spring but hosts seasonal events throughout the year to share the art of storytelling.

While a majority of the activities and events in LaGrange are well suited for children, families can find holiday attractions specifically geared towards little onesat Georgia’s only Great Wolf Lodge. Snowland is an annual holiday celebration that features festive food and drink specials, a life-size gingerbread house, jolly decorations, daily “snow” showers in the Grand Lobby and appearances by Santa.
