Located in an old church building (the former Second Methodist Church constructed in 1892 to be exact), Taste of Lemon restaurant is Southern comfort cuisine at its finest. The building is unique and original, and the food is out of sight.
Taste of Lemon serves up lunch in a meat-and-three style. Poppy seed chicken, country fried steak and salmon croquettes are routinely on the menu. Vegetable sides usually include green beans, okra, sweet potatoes and turnip greens. The mac and cheese and pineapple casserole are to die for!
