Tucked away in the outskirts of LaGrange lies hundreds of acres of woodland used for recreational hunting. Semi-private, Liberty Hill Sporting Club takes up 700 acres of this undeveloped land and boasts activities like sport clay shooting and quail hunting during the season.
The sporting clays and five stand courses were designed by renowned course designer John Higgins. The clays course features a twelve station layout nestled along a wooded trail around the lake. The covered five stand overlooks the lake and has eight target presentations.
Guided hunts at this expansive reserve can be arranged and guns are available for use at no extra charge. For overnight hunting trips, an on-site cabin that holds up to eight people is available for use.
Whether you’re looking for a weekend trip with your pals, or something to entertain you for a day, Liberty Hill Sporting Club is worth visiting.
