Southbend is a state-of-the-art skatepark within walking distance from downtown LaGrange’s excellent dining and shopping options. It’s a skater’s paradise!
Packed with standout features, the park is a mix of street and transition-style terrain. It includes a plaza space, progressive street course, open flow bowl, and is designed for all ability levels and ages. It’s the perfect place to learn and develop your skating skills!
Every skater and every detail were considered in the skatepark design by Stantec Action Sports Group. Local skateboarders were consulted in the planning process and the one-of-a-kind park is exactly what the local skaters wanted. At the grand opening, professional skateboarders demonstrated what the park is capable of and more skaters are arriving as word spreads!
Southbend’s location is perfect for LaGrange skaters. While you skate, your family can enjoy the park’s playground, dog park, open green space, and pavilion. When you finish skating, you’re only a short walk from Wild Leap Brew Co. and downtown LaGrange restaurants and shopping options. Plan an afternoon of skating before you walk downtown for dinner and ice cream, or to enjoy Wild Leap’s delicious craft brews on the patio!
