A hole, gap, window, crack, or aperture? A beginning, inception, launch, birth, or dawn? An opportunity to achieve something? This exhibition is a chance for artists to explore what OPENINGS mean to them. Studio Art Quilt Associates’ mission is to promote the art quilt: “a creative visual work that is layered and stitched or that references this form of stitched layered structure.” Their vision is that the art quilt is universally respected as a fine art medium.
