Born and raised in North Alabama, Kelli Johnson was steeped in the rich musical heritage of Country, Bluegrass, Gospel, and Motown. With her rootsy twang, powerhouse vocals and Award-Winning songwriting, Kelli has an innate ability to create music that defies genre boundaries.
As a performer, Kelli has opened for Sugarland, Restless Heart, Wet Willie, Rodney Crowell, Marty Raybon, and has toured with Grammy Winning Artist John Berry. She has performed on Music City Roots, PBS, APT, The Dugger Mountain Music Hall Show, The Phil Mack International Country Music Show, and was a featured artist on Barry Waldrep’s 2021 Tony Rice Tribute Album, alongside Vince Gill, John Berry, Marty Raybon, John Cowan, Emmylou Harris and more!
